Creative Nonfiction Workshop

$150.00
sold out

Designed for after a Foundations class, this 2-hour live virtual workshop (3 classes total) is for those who want feedback on a piece they’ve written. Come with the draft a of piece you’d like feedback on (up to 2,000 words) and you’ll get peer feedback as well as instructor line edits and feedback letter. We’ll discuss guidelines for the workshop and look at examples as a baseline. Best for those who are newer to writing workshops, or those who want to find a writing community.

Wednesdays 4-6pm PST // 7pm EST

What to expect:

1) thoughtful feedback on your writing from peers and instructor in a supportive environment

2) discussion on nonfiction elements

3) a chance to practice giving feedback to others (which in turn helps with your own writing)

4) next steps for revisions, suggestions on submitting and further reading

What students say:

“Christina has such a calm, encouraging approach to the virtual classroom. She helps students feel present— and helps them feel her presence— through careful planning, guidance, and sweet extras. So much care and attention goes into her classes. Highly recommend!”

"I am so thrilled to have taken this class with Christina. She is committed to helping students, and she goes above and beyond in providing students with helpful feedback and resources!"

"I loved Christina as an instructor! She was so warm and open. I have not taken a writing class since college, so I was a bit intimidated at first, but I felt completely comfortable sharing my thoughts in such a nonjudgmental space."
