Sometimes it can be intimidating to join a new writing community. In this free 1-hour workshop, we'll start with brief intros, provide thought-provoking writing prompts to get through writer’s block and get some quality writing time on Saturday, 4/27 at 10:00am PST// 1:00pm EST.
You'll walk away with the start of a piece to continue on your own.
This event is best for emerging writers of all genres (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, hybrid), or those looking to find a writing community, accountability, and inspiration.
Led by writer and educator Christina Berke MFA M.Ed. She’s been supported by the prestigious Bread Loaf Writers Conference where she studied with New York Times bestselling writer Melissa Febos, the writing residency Hedgebrook, and Storyknife. Her work is published in Edible, Pithead Chapel, Teen Vogue , Gulf Coast, The Rumpus, and elsewhere.
